Caitlyn Gaurano
Founder, Lead Photographer
A Southern Californian at heart, Caitlyn cherishes walks along the beach, breathtaking sunsets, and peaceful afternoons. She expresses her creativity in the kitchen, finds balance through yoga, and frees her spirit through dance. Behind the lens, Caitlyn wields her Canon, Fujifilm, and Olympus cameras to capture stunning documentary-style images. Over the years, her eye for photography, honed through self-education and dedication, has allowed her to connect with people from all corners of the world.
The name "Violeta" holds deep significance for Caitlyn, inspired by her late grandmother, who lovingly sent handwritten birthday and holiday cards, always signing them “Love, Grandma Vi.” For Caitlyn, the name embodies family, community, unconditional love, and joy.
In every wedding she photographs, Caitlyn honors her grandmother’s vivacious and loving spirit, infusing her craft with the same warmth and care that defined their relationship.

Based in Brooklyn, NY, Michael captures each couple's day with skill, knowledge, and creativity, bringing their love story to life. Having filmed over 100 weddings in 2022 alone, he has crafted stunning wedding films that LVR is proud to showcase.

Our style blends editorial and photojournalistic approaches. We combine the love of film and digital, often being a fly on the wall, but stepping in for direction when needed. We let your day unfold naturally so you can enjoy every moment while we work to capture it beautifully.

Yes! While we embrace candid moments, we also provide direction for portraits and poses, especially for family photos.

Yes, we encourage couples to provide a shot list for their portraits. It’s important to send this to us at least two months before the wedding.

You’ll receive high-resolution images via an online gallery, which you can share with guests. Depending on your package, you'll also receive tangible items like a 16x20 print or zine.

Yes! Travel fees are quoted separately from the package.

Do You Have Backup Systems?
We have a four-layer backup system. Each camera uses dual memory cards, and images are stored on two external drives, an iCloud storage system, and an archival USB drive.

Do You Offer Payment Plans?
Yes! A 30% retainer is due at booking, and the remaining balance can be split into three payments, with the final payment due two months before your event.
